Shawn Ina, Coach at Houston Christian High School, has been given this PUBLIC REPRIMAND and placed on probation for one year (until April 1, 2009) for being ejected from a baseball game on April 1, 2008.

The following boys head soccer coaches have been issued this PUBLIC REPRIMAND and placed on probation until Feb. 27, 2009 for failure to follow section 172 of the TAPPS Manual.

Jim Foringer, Coach at Irving The Highlands, has been given this PUBLIC REPRIMAND and placed on probation for one year (until Jan. 29, 2009) for being ejected from a soccer game on Jan. 29, 2008.

Wray Wade, Coach at Longview School of Texas, has been given this PUBLIC REPRIMAND and placed on probation for one year (until Nov 30, 2008) for being ejected from a basketball game on Nov. 30, 2007.

The following schools are issued this PUBLIC REPRIMAND and PROBATION is extended for the 2007-2008 school year, since their annual contract was received in the TAPPS office after the deadline for the 2006-2007 and 2007-2008 school year.

Adam Massiatte, Coach at Houston Lutheran High North, has been given this PUBLIC REPRIMAND and placed on probation for one year (until April 12, 2008) for being ejected from a baseball game on April 12, 2007.

Chad McVroom , Coach at Arlington Pantego, has been given this PUBLIC REPRIMAND and placed on probation for one year (until March 9, 2008) for being ejected from a Basketball game on March 8, 2007.

Jasen Anno, Coach at San Antonio Antonian, has been given PUBLIC REPRIMAND and placed on probation until February 27, 2008.

Polo Botello, Coach at San Antoion Holy Cross, has been given this PUBLIC REPRIMAND and placed on probation for one year (until February 22, 2008) for being ejected from a Basketball game on Februray 21, 2007.

Sanctions imposed on Galveston O’Connell Football Program as a result of a “self-reported” violation of the inducement rule:
1. 7 athletes ruled ineligible for the rest of the football season. In addition, all 7 athletes will remain ineligible for all other sports until the school provides documentation concerning enrollment and tuition status to the TAPPS Executive Board by November 3, 2005. (Documentation provided as requested). The students regained eligibility if all other requirements are met.
2. Forfeiture of all games in which the ineligible players participated.
3. Coach Feno Villano suspended for the remainder of the season.
4. Coach Levine suspended for the next two games.
5. Because of the self-reporting, the Board removed the penalty imposed by the district committee to declare O’Connell ineligible for the football playoffs for the 2005 season. For Play-offs the 7 athletes ruled ineligible will not be eligible.
6. O’Connell issued a two-year probation.
7. Public reprimands were given to O’Connell Consolidated High School, Coach Feno Villano, Coach John Levine and Larry Zeringue-Athletic Director

At a hearing conducted on Wednesday January 25, 2006, the TAPPS Executive Board determined that Carrollton Christian School is in violation of the inducement rule for arranging tuition payment for four members of the girls varsity basketball team.

THE NAMES OF THE STUDENTS WILL NOT BE PUBLISHED ON THE TAPPS WEB SITE OR RELEASED TO THE PRESS BY THE TAPPS OFFICE.

The Board determined that Girls Basketball Coach Bill Franey solicited funds which were used to provide financial aid for these students.

The players were ruled ineligible and all games in which any played during the 2005-2006 season are to be forfeited. The girls varsity basketball team may continue to participate in district play, provided the ineligible players do not participate.

The Carrollton Christian Girls Basketball program is placed on probation the 2006-2007/2007-2008/ 2008-2009 seasons.

Coach Bill Franey is suspended from coaching the Carrollton Christian girls basketball team for the remainder of the 2005-2006 season and be placed on probation for the 2006-2007 and 2007-2008 seasons.

This notification serves as a Public Reprimand for Carrollton Christian school.

Living Stones Christian School has been re-admitted to TAPPS in 2006 with a two year probation, 2006-2007 and 2007-2008 for previous violations.

TAPPS schools that employ Thomas Ducote cannot compete for district honors until he has appeared before the TAPPS Executive Board in regard to violations that occurred at Galveston O'Connell High School during the 1997-1998 school year.
