Coach Michael Moretta is suspended from any and all coaching duties for the Atonement Academy's track team for the remainder of the 2011-2012 track season. Coach Moretta is given a public reprimand for failure to comply with numerous TAPPS rules regarding registration and administration of the Atonement Acadmey's track team. Also placed on probation for one year through June 2013. |

The Awty International Boys Soccer team actions at the State Winter Soccer Tournament were reviewed by the TAPPS Executive Board. The Board heard testimony from the athletic director and soccer coach in regards to the contest and post contest actions. After review and discussion, the following sanctions were presented:

The following sanctions have been determined for violation of Section 104 of the TAPPS By-Laws.
Trinity Christian School must forfeit all contests in which a transfer student participated from the time the error was discovered until the completed Previous Athletic Participation form was delivered to the district executive committee for approval. A letter of forfeiture shall be sent to all schools affected by this decision and a copy of such notification sent to the TAPPS office.

As a result of player and coach ejections, the TAPPS Executive Board has issued the following sanctions:
Waco Texas Christian Academy is issued a PUBLIC REPRIMAND, placed on PROBATION through June 2013 and all Basketball Coaches must complete the NFHS Teaching Modeling Behavior course prior to the 2011-12 season.
Darrell Selke, athletic director, is issued a PUBLIC REPRIMAND.
Mark Wible is issued a PUBLIC REPRIMAND, placed on PROBATION for one year and will serve a 3 game suspension if coaching in TAPPS. |
The Executive Board of the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools convened on Wednesday, November 17, 2010. At that time, representatives from Allen Academy met with the board to review student eligibility concerns. Individual statements, interviews and written documentation were presented by Allen Academy. After review, consideration and deliberation, the TAPPS Executive Board determined violations of the TAPPS By-Laws existed and sanctions were issued as listed below.
- Varsity Eligibility was denied for two (2) students attending Allen Academy.
- In accordance with the TAPPS Constitution and By-Laws, any contest in which the students participated as defined under Article VII of the TAPPS constitution, will be forfeited.
- Allen Academy is placed on PROBATION for a period of two (2) years.
- Allen Academy is issued a PUBLIC REPRIMAND for lack of institutional control in establishing the eligibility of student athletes.
- Any Boarding Students approved for residence at Allen Academy after November 17, 2010 will be considered students living with guardians and subject to the applicable provisions of the TAPPS By-Laws. Section 80.D indicates that the citizen students would be ineligible for Varsity Participation for a period of one (1) calendar year from the date of first attendance at Allen Academy. Foreign / International students are subject to one (1) calendar year of varsity ineligibility as outlined in Section 102.F of the TAPPS By-Laws.
- Dave Bliss is suspended from all coaching activities in TAPPS for a period of one (1) year.
- Dave Bliss is suspended from TAPPS Administrative duties for a period of one (1) year.

TAPPS schools that employ Thomas Ducote cannot compete for district honors until he has appeared before the TAPPS Executive Board in regard to violations that occurred at Galveston O'Connell High School during the 1997-1998 school year.
